This standard High Definition Digital Video Camcorder records at 1280x720 resolution and is modified to withstand extreme vibrations while mounted using the included rubber mounting system. It is redesigned beyond standard tolerance levels with a higher capacity for endurance. See HD Warranty
The HD 2 system can be battery operated or draw power directy from a 12 volt accessory plug.
The HD resolution is 1280x720, at 30 frames per second, and has the ability to record at lower resolutions: D1 (720x480 at 30fps); and CIF (352x240 at 30fps). It has up to 6MB of internal memory, and can hold up to 32GB of external memory on an SDHC card. It also has a 3" LCD display for convenient viewing. It will record approximately 8.5 hours on the included 16 Gigabyte SD card.
Key features of the HD 1 system include a rechargeable Li-ion battery, 4X Digital Zoom, still-camera mode, rotating LCD display, and rubber mounting system. It records in "Movie" format, making it compatible with both MAC and PC Operating systems.
