The 'Rover1' represents more than a year of R&D here at Edgecameras. The all-wheel drive, and all-terrain tires allow it to navigate almost any terrain without fear of getting stuck. The all aluminum construction reduces weight to allow for easy transportation and deployment by one person. The light weight aluminum body, in no means, compromises the durablility.
It is capable of surviving extreme impacts without any harm to it's functionability. The control system is extremely simple and easy to learn, usually taking about 2 hours to master the system. The wireless camera on 'Rover1' is transmitted back to the control system, which feeds the video to a pair of 'movie glasses'. This unique system allows the operator to have an uninterrupted view from the on-board camera. Also, by not using a conventional screen the chance of glare from another light source is eliminated.
